Long-haul & ghat routes — flagship comfort
The Shakti Peethas of the lower Himalayas — Naina Devi, Chintpurni, the eternal flame of Jwala Ji, Kangra Brajeshwari and Chamunda Devi. Fly to Chandigarh; our car runs the hill circuit.
The Nau Devi (nine goddesses) circuit strings together the great Shakti temples of Himachal and its foothills — several of them among the 51 Shakti Peethas where parts of Sati are said to have fallen. Jwala Ji is the most singular: a temple with no idol, where natural flames burn eternally from the rock.
From Mansa Devi and Naina Devi to Chintpurni, the ancient Brajeshwari Devi of Kangra and Chamunda Devi, the route winds through the Kangra valley beneath the Dhauladhar range — a devotional journey through the Devi heartland of the western Himalayas.
Panchkula Mansa Devi and hilltop Naina Devi.
Chintpurni Devi darshan.
The eternal flame of Jwala Ji and Brajeshwari at Kangra.
Chamunda Devi and Baglamukhi.
